Their peer-to-peer fundraising features are pretty easy to use, and we loved it when we were focused on raising money collaboratively. However, their event-related features still need some work - they're a bit bare-bones for those looking to manage complex events with all the bells and whistles.
Givebutter is great in terms of having no upfront costs, making it accessible for small-scale fundraising. However, it's important to note that as your event's success grows, the platform's fees can add up significantly. We hosted an event that raised over 200k, and ended up with a substantial charge of over 15 thousand dollars in fees.
Givebutter really helped us with campaign pages for smaller events and our peer-to-peer. They made getting the page up and running relatively easy.
Definitely a user-friendly fundraising platform, but it falls short when it comes to sponsor features. Unfortunately, there's no option to upload or display current event sponsors, which can be a drawback for organizations seeking to acknowledge their supporters prominently.
